The Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple is one of the most significant temples in Rameshwaram. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. The temple houses two Jyotirlingas, one made by Goddess Sita and the other brought by Lord Hanuman from the Himalayas.
